Behalf Of Rick Lampkin Sent: Sunday, February 11, 2001 7:41 PM To: metastock@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: Explorations I'm interested in doing some explorations based on price movement. An example would be as follows: "Yesterdays open greater than the high of 2 days ago and the close of 4 days ago greater than the high of 3 days ago." Can anyone offer suggestions as to how this might be written in Metastock formula language? I'm not quite clear as to how you get yesterdays and n days ago into a formula. Rick Rick, Make copious and hearty use of the Ref() function. Cond1:=Ref(OPEN,-1)>Ref(HIGH,-2); Cond2:=Ref(CLOSE,-4)>Ref(HIGH,-3); RL_Indicator:=Cond1 AND Cond2; Dave Nadeau Fort Collins, CO Code:
